Meet the Creators

Helen was brought up in the town of Redcar with her mum, dad and eight older brothers. She now resides in Nottinghamshire with her two teenage sons and beloved husband of 24 years. She spends her working life as the extremely proud Headteacher of a wonderful little primary school. She is passionate about starting a love of reading and books in young children and has spent the last few decades trying to bring books to life.

This and other stories she has written, are all inspired by the animals in her own garden and how she imagines they act, talk and play together. Having recently become a vegan, her wish is to declare her love for animals and an awareness to everyone, that these animals have thoughts, feelings and maybe even dreams. Just ask Rocky!
