Mum

Bio

Mum has been 'a mum' for 21 years now and adores her two boys, Sammy and Benny. With her wonderful husband, her little family is perfect and she knows she is blessed. However, for longer than she can remember, she has been passionate about animals, wildlife and gardening. Her precious (and considerably larger) Backyard Farm family inspires her every day and encourages her to be the pest person she can be. She watches how they take care of each other, love each other and protect each other and she wakes everyday determined to do the same.

Mum has been a vegan for almost four years and wishes she'd done this sooner. But, she knows now that she can do everything in her power to protect animals everywhere. Mum enjoys nothing more than 'playing' in her garden. It is like a sanctuary to her and with Daisy & Daffodil by her side, her days are filled with happiness. At the end of a busy day, weeding, planting or pruning, Mum often pulls out a rug and sits crossed leg in the middle of her beautiful paradise. It isn't long before she's surrounded by her Backyard Farm friends, all wanting to share some time together, with the lyrics of Louis Armstrong's, 'What a Wonderful World!' floating around her head!
